I am a strong believer in Congressional input and I heartily suggest sitting down and writing your Representatve and Senator with a personal letter as to why you are personally concerned with proposed changes in Medicare handling of oxygen.
We have to do it personally as Congress is deluged with mail and phone ins and lobbyists. To break through that nonsence, folks need to express their personal concerns to their own congress persons.
If you have never had time or willingness to do it before, you will be pleasantly suprised at the response to personal mail.
People who write personally usually know what should be done, or at least what they fear isn't being done. Your Congressperson is very aware that constituents have legs and mouths. If you aren't pleased, there is a weapon against the Congress person that can indeed affect change from their failure to respond. It's usually referred to as a "circle of influence". We all have our own circles and they cause mighty trouble for folks who don't listen to their constituents. Please try this approach. At least once. I almost guarantee you will receive a letter that matches your concern and makes a response one way or another.
We have time to do many things. Why not try to use John's letter like this, as a starting point for YOUR personal words and concerns. Why not make a difference. You may well influence the end result. They are so fed up with lobbyists.
