hi chris and all
exercise is not my favorite thing to do. never was. it's not in my genes.
i do know especially now anyone with copd exercise is a must, at least 3 x's a week.
i need to be doing it, for 2 reasons , extra weight and lungs.
i was doing water walking 3 days a week at the ymca but had to stop for a while as i got a groin pull and have to be cleared by the dr.
i did go thru rehab and loved it. wish it were something that would of continued.
motovation for me is the key. my get up and go , got up and went. i have boughts of depression , especially when i dont hear from my children, by the way who all had college educations and married from home.
now "their busy" thats my motovation and when i dont get it i sit home and feel sorry for myself. then its me and my dog.
just cant get over the hump of loosing my husband and copd in that order. its been 6 years !!!
i'm not looking for sympathy trust me, but i'm sure there are a lot of people like me out there.
i dont like living alone, im on social security with not much left over for the lifestyle i was used to. and thats o.k. im glad to be alive.
i guess i got carried away and im sorry.
god bless you all. you are such a wealth of knowledge and strength.
have a wonderful weekend.
