Penny, the Viaspire does not extract oxygen from room air, it just liquefies the gaseous oxygen a concentrator produces. The phrase, "..liquefying up to 2 liters of liquid oxygen per day" just means it produces that much liquid oxygen. Two liters of liquid oxygen is much more than 2 liters of oxygen in the gaseous state.
