You are right - husband said to tell you he is not going anywhere where it is over 104. However, we live where it gets very cold. The instructions that come with it and manual says, "certain boundaries that will allow the
ECLIPSE Oxygen System to operate at its full potential.
Operating Temperature 50º F to 104º F (10º C to 40º C)"
We have determined that if you operate above or below those limitations some adjustment would have to be made in the oxygen flow. Not sure if we are right but he is ever in that situation we will find out. Glad that right now he does not need it all the time so can handle the cold from house to car, etc. (and uses his small compressed when necessary). It also says not to leave it where temperature could go over 140 such as a car, etc. so (batteries) would have to be removed and taken inside if you wanted to leave the Eclipse in the auto. There certainly isn't anything out there that is perfect - hope there is someday. ElaineNY
