It can be used continuous up to 3L and use a 50Ft. hose in your house. Runs on AC or battery/auto cord. One battery is supposed to last about 2.5 hours set at 3L. It is not light but comes with a nice cart. I would believe it would be as easy, if not easier to get it in and out of a car as an E tank.
I got my husband a new one on craigslist.com from a young women who bought it for her grandmother who never got to use it. Cost us $1,000 with 2 batteries and accessory bag. He will use it for traveling and the mall, etc. Has only tried it in the house so far and quiet. He plans on trying it overnight soon just to see how it goes.
There are companies that have "rent to own", etc. My husband is still getting Medicare concentrator and small compressed bottles for he only uses oxygen for sleeping and when "active" as prescribed. Hopefully this type of concentrator will be available from companies through Medicare and insurance for anyone who qualifies. ElaineNY
