I'm confused. My 10 year anniversary date (6/20/1998) of quitting smoking is coming up. But I had COPD then and I have it severely now. It's not going away. I have an 18% reduction in my risk of death from COPD now? Or what does this mean? Maybe it just means something for the general population and statistics, is that right?
