I believe it was you that I spoke with some time ago about the EBV valve. If so, I believe you and another guy said that you had both had it doene during the trials and would do it again with no regrets. Anyhoo, I just spoke with a Rep form Emphasys Medical about when and IF the procedure would be available in the USA (it is done in France, Austrilia,and Indosenia) he said they are still waiting for the FDA, but feel it is moving along. Needless to say, he didn't get pinned to the floor on when the approval may come. He was very helpful in explaining that an MRI would be the determining factor and did not want me to not be aware that everyone will not be a candidate. I felt his candor on that very refreshing. They also have put their IPO on hold till the FDA ruling and hopefully an improvement in the stock market. I have been reading another forum as well and suppose if I'm not a candidate for the EBV, I'll check out the LVRS. I hate knives, but am ready to get on with any improvement of the qualility of my life that's available. If you have any more info on your experience, or anyone else's with the valve that would help in my decision It would be greatly appreciately. Thanx and God Bless.
