Mary Ellen -
Is the Inogen affected by rain? Had to go have a CT scan last Friday in a thunderstorm.
What do you do with it when shopping for groceries? I remember trying to shop attached to an E cylinder on a caddy - not a pretty site.
How do you handle power outages? We have had 3 so for this year and with tornado season just around the corner, I suspect there will be more.
I drive an old 5 passenger sedan-- I guess it would fit comfortably in the floor board of the passenger seat, but I would be extremely SOB putting it in the car from the passenger side and walking around to the driver's side.
I like the idea of being able to hook up at the doctor's office, resturant, etc. since I have always cut the O2 back to the lowest I can tolerate to extend the time of the portable LOX. I'm also angry at the company I do business with as they left the responsibility of telling me about the change to my long time delivery man -- I think we are the only two that know anything about LOX -- the supervisor of the dept. could have called and talked about it. I have been a client there for 8 1/2 years.
Sometimes I think I have turned in to a control freak, but with a 19 FEV and on continuous oxygen, I have to think ahead so much of the time cause there is no one else looking out for my welfare.
Thanks to everyone for all the information.
