They have never thrown them away after each treatment, Chris. I have been in the hospital probably 7 times since 98 and they used to rinse them and put them in the bag. I have been to different hospitals and that was always the proceedure. Now the new infectious disease guidelines dont' allow the washing. Guess they figure you at least get your own germs back.
