We had three cats, and I was continually dealing with mucus problems, frequent throat clearing and so on. As each cat in turn died I noticed improvement and now with several years without animals I notice a real difference in that area. So I must have had a serious allergy to cats--which is fairly common.
I still miss them, though, and have a hard time in pet stores not buying one.
