Thanks for letting us know about the update.
Larry should never feel he has any reason to apologize to anyone for anything he writes in his journal. His journal is a recording of his life, or at least this part of it, that he is going to leave behind. If he can't put the things in it he truly feels, its not a true record. His journal may help others when they get ready to travel this road in the future.
