Thanks, John. It wasn't the O2 company that tipped me off originally, it was the driver. I ended up with several machines because folks "didn't like" their machines, and at the time, they'd just junk them. Truth was, many folks don't realise it's not lpm and have never gotten used to portables in our rural area. It's pretty sad.
I was really fortunate in my Pulmo, too. He was trained in Pulmonology right beside the famed Dr. Cooper in Canada and keeps up with research issues. They get pretty discouraged with many of their patients, who just don't quite believe they can thrive despite their disease.
I have never believed we need to skirt low oxygen at any time. The Pulmo was all over me to get an oximeter and get it up there. I know you are careful, but not everyone is. The other risk is hearts and brains from chronic low oxygen, too.
Yes, if we develop heart problems and can't circulate blood well, it bears more watching, but good o2 levels make a great basic for a healthy body.
