If your heart rate is increasing as a possible side effect of your meds, you may wish to discuss trying Brovana + inhaled steroid with your doc in place of Advair or Symbicort.
Brovana provides the long-acting relief of Foradil or Serevent but has the portion of the med that is linked to cardiac side effects removed. It is a nebulized medication in other respects similiar to Foradil. It is covered by Medicare, since it uses the neb.
