I totally agree, Chris. When did all this hugging of minor acquaintences start. I am not a hugger and I have another friend that is not. Living in a senior park hugging has become the thing to do for some reason even if you don't know the person well. She and I often make a beeline for another place when a hugger starts around the table. Some people are very offended if you don't want them to hug you and more than once even though people know my feelings they come at me with open arms and say "I know you don't like to be hugged but I want to hug you anyway" I want to scream and sometimes do. Be respectful of people's boundaries. Howie is really germaphobic but hey, that is his thing so people should respect it.
