We stopped attending church in the winter, seemed as if no matter where we tried to isolate ourselves, someone hacking or something will try to get near us. Of course then they cough into their hand and then try to shake hands with you. When shopping, I try to have enough cash on me so I can use the self checkout if one is available. Saves contact in a checkout line at a cashier to write a check, for the groceries. Of course in both cars we have bottles of hand sanitizer. I even asked my wife to delay a routine doctor visit last week because the flu is so prevalent here right now. Our family doctor's office is swamped with it. The state health dept. says it appears to have peaked though which is good news. Daylight savings time starts next weekend, spring can't be far behind.
