I confess to swallowing Spiriva several times. First thing in the morning the brain is on autopilot, a capsule in my hand and a glass of water in front of me for taking all the pills that should be swallowed. Before the brain knows what the hands are doing, it's down the hatch.
The first time I swallowed the Spiriva I assumed that I was a goner and gave away all my possessions. Imagine my embarassment when I survived with no ill effects and had to ask all my friends for my stuff back.
