I always got sick after the flu shot , just feeling really sick for days , and my arm would swell and have red streaks running from it . I just quit taking it , then as my COPD got worse I told my Dr no when ask if I had my flu shot . I explained to her what happened and she said she wanted to try something,she gave me a injection of something , can't remember what it is ,but bet your Dr would know, and then she told me to go home and take Bendryl ever four hours until the next day, then come back for my flu shot . I been doing it for about seven years now and can't tell I take the flu shot. I am not alergic to eggs.
