This is a very solid CMK pedigree, linebred to *Count Dorsaz with the parents stemming from two Al-Marah cooperator programs. It's predominantly Crabbet and Davenport with some Babson Egyptian in the dam of Grand Count--the only Polish ancestor is Skowronek behind the Crabbet breeding. Grand Count was a top show horse and one of the best-regarded *Count Dorsaz sons; Contessa's sire was half-brother to the well performed Indraff sons AM Kontiki and AM Nautilus, and their full sister Al-Marah Bounty is still an important line at Al-Marah.
