Since CMK is not a closed-definition preservation group, this horse is a CMK Arabian even though he has some Polish ancestry. He's not typical New York breeding, but old lines more typical of Michigan and North Dakota. CMK is one of the preservation movements directed toward the traditional using and companion Arabian, horses known for their disposition and trainability. That's the reputation the breed used to have.
