I had the great pleasure today fishing Ron Bagwell of Wellco MFG in Dixon, and his sons Cody & Jeff. The gal at Markley let us in early again, and off we went with lines wet before six am. The first two fish came in a hour or so, and then it was dead so we moved around, and by 9:45 we had four. Then it broke loose for us with 11 fish by 10:15, and then dead for awhile again, then we found the last three and me and Ron pulled the plug about 1:00 because of the boys loosing the fifteenth fish four times.
Top set ups today were:
3/0 Sep’s chrome starlight dodger & chartreuse RGT
3/0 Sep’s watermelon dodger & blue glow hoochie
3/0 Sep’s chrome starlight dodger & Pink Passion Uncle Larry’s Spinner
3/0 Sep’s watermelon dodger & green glow hoochie
Top scent Pro Cure:
Kokanee special & gel
Herring & gel
Depths: 54 to 64 feet deep and the speed was 1.3 to 1.5 on the GPS. Till next time be safe and we’ll seya out there. T-ROY
