As it was explained to me Bruce felt that by lightening the pressure on the fish on Thursday and Friday would lead to better fishing on Saturday. He used the example of the fact that Bass Tournaments do not allow prefishing immediately preceding an event for that reason. Another example is that at the recent KP Derby fishing was good on Thursday and then got progressively tougher as the fishing pressure increased over the weekend. I think we have all experenced that fishing on Monday is not as productive because of the increased pressure over the weekend. Bruce is just trying to find ways to make the event as enjoyable and productive for as many participants as possible. If you do feel you need to fish Thursday and Friday why not do a little scouting around the lake and not pound an single area to death. See you Saturday and lets have fun.
