J.H. is right.it's not gonna matter if some folks want to pre-fish the derby the 2 days before,or not.the lake is what it is.i really appreciate everything that Bruce has done,and continues to do for this organization.but some of us work. i am on vacation next week(prior to the derby),and a damn tough week it was this past week,and i want to fish and relax on my vacation,then take in the excitement of "competition" fishing at the end of it,and support the organization i have supported for 17 years,in this way.i feel like because i am on vacation,and want to fish and relax,that those that do not pre-fish the 2 days prior to the derby,one of them may be "rewarded" for that,and i am being penalized for fishing the lake on my vacation,and for what?,some kind of prize.the lake is what it is,on any given day.i'm sorry Rod & Bruce,but i don't see it has being a good idea,IMHO.the fish will either bite for you on derby day,or they won't.it's up to us to figure out.heck,isn't that part of the fun in this whole thing?
