I've been fishing for Kokanee since the days that the DFG used to do all the funding and planting (I used to catch Kokanee back in the mid-1980's at Pardee using monofilament line, a sliding sinker and a Clown NeedleFish put back 150 feet). I can agree that your statement regarding the inevitibility of change is true; might I suggest that more intense effort be put forth by both Project Kokanee and Kokanee Power to present a united front in the effort to keep our inland fisheries thriving? With the decline of our coastal fisheries, more and more active people will be turning to our inland fisheries! This is NO TIME to allow efforts to become sidetracked. It is most unfortunate that these posts continue. Why can't you gentlemen, as men, settle these issues in a way that is transparent to the members? We don't need to be subjected to such high-school antics. We donate much money to keep these organizations viable and working for our benefit, so please let us read about how much you are doing on our behalf, and MUCH less about how some enjoy engaging in these "tinkling" contests. Many thanks for everyone's combined efforts. My tummy thanks you every time I taste a fat, bbq'ed Kokanee.
