Thanks for your support, both members and board

Most of you that know me, know that I have a passion for CIFFI and that is why I struggle with how to proceed. I have been told that my postings have cost me the friendship of some on the board. I still count most on the board as friends and supporters of CIFFI. Some think this is about a power struggle, but I believe it is about a leadership shift. As the CIFFI President, my challenges were not working with Fish and Game, or building sponsors, or developing partnerships. My challenge was with a few that wanted to remain the liaisons with Fish and Game and control any partnerships. What I heard from yesterday was that my leadership was exactly what the members and sponsors wanted to see. I know that the majority of our members want to fish, have fun and not get into the politics. I appreciate that and thank all those who have taken the time to let the board know their feelings. You have helped CIFFI build a significant bank account and you need a leadership that can have a strong relationship with Fish and Game and do more each year. Thanks nelsen
