Actually no. the facts are:
1. I took pictures on Thursday when I was there briefly at the main booth.
2. I went home and downloaded those photos.
3. I formatted the card to reuse.
4. I took pictures on Friday at the show.
5. I went home and was too tired to download them.
6. I returned to the show on Saturday and took more pictures.
7. I went home and began to download the shots on the card.
8. Adobe Lightroom groups shots by date and asks if you want to import the shots. You can uncheck dates you don't want to import. Thinking that I had already imported Friday (it was Thursday) I uchecked Friday and imported only Saturday. (A major error in workflow on my part).
9. I always format a card before using it again, so I put it in the camera and formated it.
10. I took photos of the Sunday events.
By the time I discovered what I had done it was too late. The file references were still there but were not recoverable as valid files.
Again, I apologize for my carelessness.
