The laws for the rivers was passed in 2004 and will be enforced starting 2008. This also apply's to any lakes under the jurisdiction of the US Coast Guard, including as of now Folsom Lake and Lake Tahoe. There will be more Northern and Central and Southern Lakes that will be under the US Coast Guard soon. Jerry Kazee Passion Guide Service
