Now that I have had the time to rest up a bit I wanted to thank all of the CIFFI volunteers who made our WON Youth Fair booth a huge success in Sacramento.
I hope I have not left anybody out.
Don Nevis for helping me set up on Thursday. Larry Goodell and Percy Vance for helping me set the fallen booth back up on Friday afternoon.
The Friday shift of volunteers: Dave Wieldraayer, Ron “Coach” Berg, Jim Jacobs, Mike Liebig, Jim Gilchrist and Percy Vance.
The first shift on Saturday included Bruce Decker, Jim Karoush, Larry Boswell, Witt Finger, Jason Tidwell Bryon Takahashi, Florylynn Miguelino, and Courtney Gaunt. Several of these volunteers stayed to work beyond the end of their shift. Their generosity was truly appreciated as we were extremely busy for much of the day. The second shift included Don Nevis, Jim Karoush, Witt Finger, Ann & Ric Howe, Terry & Debbie Chase and Mark Damron.
On Sunday the first part of the show was covered by Don Nevis, John “JD” Hill, Jason Tidwell and his son Jacob. Terry & Debbie Chase returned for a second round at noon to cover until after 4 pm. Mel Ewing Don Nevis Jason & Jacob, and Gary Pilkington staffed the booth until five and all helped with the tear-down.
Also, thanks to Mark & Stephanie Kalinowski for coming by and offering to volunteer. I am not sure how much time you spent at the booth as I was distracted by other events but the offer was truly appreciated.
Then Mel, Don and I went over to the main booth and helped Dennis, Larry, et. al. put that display to bed.
A very big thanks to David Wieldraayer and those who helped him bag over 4,000 lure kits during the summer of 2007.
Jim
