Posted by Warren on 10/21/2007, 10:07 pm Well, there is no BS story about Kokanee "catchin" at Lake McClure right now!! limited out with 15 fish for myself, and 2 friends.we had a ball on these nice sized Kokes!! caught between 103'-112' deep. We used 6" pained "glow" Sling Blades,6" chrome/green tape Sling Blades, and i even put out an 8" chrome/silver tape Sling Blade, and it probably caught most of the fish!! garlic & herring scented corn, and all smeared with a good dose of Pro-Cure,and "Smelly Jelly" gels in garlic & herring.lures included Uncle Larry's pink hoochie,my home made "glow" spinner hoochies, and Radical Glow chartruese spinners.a beautiful, sunny day on the lake, with a couple of great guys!! was better than watchin the 49ers get their a$$es kicked by the Giants!! thats why we went fishing anyways!!this should last a while longer, but, with a full moon phase coming up quick,it might slow a bit,but if the weather holds, they might just be in the mood to hang around a while longer.hope so.they are great fighters!!
