As of today, there are over 1.5 million eggs at the SJ hatchery. This means there is more picking and sorting to be done than there has been in years. Volunteers can go to the hatchery in the AM, PM and on the weekends too... It's a seven days a week effort! Joe and several others are at the hatchery 3-5 days a week. Additional help is most welcome and needed over the next month or two. This is a critical part of having fish to plant next Spring. Please give him a call. Pictures from the hatchery are avilable if anyone would like to post them. They're interesting and you're certainly welcome to them. Thanks, Gary
