Posted by Joe Clements on 10/7/2007, 5:31 pm It is not a difficult process but time consuming. Finding folks with days off in the middle of the week is a little more difficult than I thought it would be. All the decisions that are made in this process are bringing the eggs from fertilization to putting them in the lakes, is done with the guidance of DFG employees. They explain to us what they want us to do and the folks at the San Joaquin Hatchery are really nice people to work with. You can get directions by going to Google and signing on to the San Joaquin Hatchery. If that is a problem, feel free to give me a call or e-mail. Phone numbers are: 559-673-1120 and cell 559-232-5231, e-mail address is: Rustydog@Hughes.net Thanks for any help you can give us. We have four jars working now and on Thursday of this week, we will have at least four more. We do need help. Joe Clements,
Hello to all. The Kokanee Power Volunteers at the San Joaquin Hatchery would like to extend an invitation to Project Kokanee Members. Those of you who may have some spare time to help with the Egg Picking portion are welcome. This is done in order to give the eggs that were brought into the hatchery from Taylor Creek a good start.
