I use K9 Advantex (monthly)on my dog and have used powdered garlic on her food, but I heard from a neighbor that the garlic has to be mixed with Brewer's Yeast to be effective against fleas. However, she is a cat lady, so I don't know if it is true for dogs as well. But I haven't had a flea problem with having dogs for the last 6 or 7 years straight. I had dogs years ago and had no flea problems with them, either.
Think I'll do a search and see if I can find that info on the web about garlic and Brewer's yeast.
