    Roaches weather

Posted by Dan on August 22, 2017, 12:41 pm

    Hi,

Does anyone have any immediate weather reports for the Roaches, or at least Buxton? I am in Sheffield and wondering if the weather will be suitable.

    Cheers,

    Dan

Just driven past Roaches and it's very foggy up there, though not raining - just a bit dank

Dank = midges and it's murky looking out across Buxton now so Windgather or Castle naze may be a wiser choice

Windgather sounds a good alternative, lighter, dryer, midglesser.

I'm only just about to leave Chesterfield... where is everyone going.

Dogs at castlenaze are usually fine as it's just on the moor proper where they cause an issue.
