    Stanage Crow Chin

Posted by Adrian on August 1, 2017, 9:47 am

Stanage Crow Chin and anglers at Bamford tonight with an iffy weather forecast. Anybody care to think up a walk in that area so we can go over on the basis that heads we go climbing, tails we go for a walk and either was we go to the same pub?
Having said that, the forecast seems to be to get better later on so we should be OK

I think weather could go either way. Need to keep an eye on wind as well because crowchin + damp + no wind = midgetastic

Currently rain in Sheffield has just stopped. The latest forecast is for the rest of the day to be cloudy and partly sunny, no rain. I will update if I can.

            Update:

I have just been soaked by a blast of heavy, heavy, heavy rain that has poured over Sheffield and left torrents of water in the streets and pedestrian areas. It also tested my long neglected sprinting skills. It is now letting up.

            Update 3:

It is now (15.25) clearing up in S-field. But for how long!?!?!? In any case the Angler's Arms is the place to go. There is a 30% chance of pizza.
