This would be the surname of my great-great-great grandmother on my mother's side. Her daughter's name was Oma Gabehart, the only place I can find Nannie Panki's name is on her daughter's death certificate, no birth or marriage certs that would indicate where she was born. Does anyone know where this surname originated? I keep coming across information about Eastern European ancestry and gypsies, but I can't confirm anything. Any information is appreciated! Thank you
