My great grandmother lived at Mare Creek, Stanville, Ky. Her name was Dorthula Spradlin (Dorothy Bays). She had 6 children, Miah (my grandfather)called Marrs Spradlin, Martin, John, Julia, Liza, and Minnie (Mint)Spradlin. I believe they lived in John's Creek when the children were little. I can find only her death record. She was born August 5, 1875 and died in 1973. I can find no records of her husband. Julia's obiturary listed his name as Miriah but that is all I can locate. Does anyone have any information about my family or pictures they would share. I believe some of them also lived at Abbott, Hager Shoals, or Spradlin Branch. Please help me locate information on Dorthula and her husband. She lived to be 98 years old. I wish that I would have written history of the family when I talked with her. I only remember seeing her one time and that was when I was about
12 or 14 years of age. Please share any info. by e-mail. Thanks!
