Here is some additional information I have collected from my mother and Duncil researcher's.
If you are interested, I have photo's and other information regarding your Tom's and my Kate's parents and grandparents.
My grandma Kate had 13 children. 8 lived to be adults and have children of their own. My mother (Opsie Robertson Banks) is her youngest child.
Katherine (Kate) Duncil Robertson daughter of Loranza/Ran Dow Duncil (born 1851 or 1852) and Malissa Miller (born 1852 or 1853) Duncil. Kate=Born 1892 – Died 1965. Buried Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, OH section 20 – Kate married Al/Albert Robertson 5/10/1910. Children:Roy, Virgie, Edward, Orville, Raymond, Otis, Wanda, and Opsie.
Siblings Include:
Mollie/Molly(1878/KY- ?/OH )Duncil Haddix married Jerry M. Haddix 1897 (children Ova 1899/KY, Kelly 1903/KY, William 1904/KY, Pearce or Reave 1908/KY, Beatrice 1912/KY, Rupert 1914/KY, Eula ?/KY) unsure of other children. They moved to OH.
Eliza(1876/KY-1962/OH)Duncil Taulbee Sherman (married Thomas Taulbee 1897 –1908) children Wm.B.,Fred, JohnLuther, Ellis Taulbee. Married Thomas C Sherman 1871-? children=Wendell 1/7/1913-12/8/1979, Mary Juanita 1915-still living, Ruby LaRue 6/16/1919-1/12/1921))
Millie Ann(1872 /KY- ?/OH)Duncil Bryant married John Jackson Bryant(1869 KY – 1942 OH)(children Ella, Floyd, Cora, May, Effie, Murill twin to Burl, Carl, Lee)
Tom Duncil (1881/KY-1958 Letcher Cty,KY) married Angeline Watkins or Wadkins (1885-1956 Perry Cty,KY)( Mary, Ethel, Edward, Evalee, Henry, Herbert, Pierson, John, Edna, Billie(son), Lewis Gene, Mollie, Calla– at least 4 died in childhood)
John Duncil (1884/KY-1943) married May Cundiff (children Bessie, Effie, Irma, Unice?, Earnie?, Ida twins Mildred, Mabel) unsure of other children
Henry Duncil (1887-1947 KY) married Nannie Tolliver(1900 - ?)(children Macie, Raymond, Melvin, Andrew Judson, Ritter Anne, Bonnie, Ellis) not a complete list
William Bradley Duncil (1896-1986 AZ) married Sarah Cundiff (1899-1975 IN) (children Earl, Marie, Omer)
