My gggrandfather, James Milton Gentry, was born 8/8/1836 in KY. I have been searching for 10 years for his parents names and his place of birth. All the people in my family that might know are now deceased. In the Obion County,TN census of 1880, he stated his parents were born in KY. James Milton Gentry married Martha Tanner in TN & their son, William Walter Gentry, was born in 1873. James Milton died 8/30/1888 & is buried in the New Ebenezer Cemetary in Obion County,TN.
