My great-great grandpa George Hess was an inventor in Louisville in the early 1800's. He actually owned a business that was called Hess's Boat Works (I think) where he built boats and yachts, now that building is th Galt House. I've been looking for more information everywhere and I cannot find anything about him, but he seemed like he was a prominent citizen in Louisville. HELP!
