I hope someone can help me, I have search for seven years. Looking for Jane Shepherd from Ky. about 1854. Father from SC. Mother from NC.
Brother Thomas Shepherd married to Sarah, with three boys Thomas, John, William, James. Jane half brother is William born in Ky. about 1857. Mother born in Ky. father SC. All liveing next door to one another in Campbell Co. TN. 1880 census. The name is misspelled Sheperd. Right spelling Shepherd (Two H ) Rebecca Nix and her two children Alice, Jacen, is liveing with Jane and William. The Nix family is listed as MU and Niece and G-niece, G-nephew to William Shepherd.
Jane Shepherd is my Great grandmother who I loved as a child. It would mean the world to me to find this Shepherd family. Also will be happy to call for information.
