I am looking for the generations before my gg grandfather William Reeves Thompson. He was born 09 Jun 1805 in , Green, Kentucky. I have only found his father's name as Thompson. I have no dates for his father. His mother is listed as Mrs. Thompson, born c1792 in Kentucky. I have read somewhere that she might have been from a native Indian tribe in the area. I did not copy the source of that information. William married Martha Morman Morrison 8 Sep 1836. They had had six sons and one daughter in Osage County, Missouri. William died 23 Aug 1877. Martha died 12 Jun 1900. They are buried in Grove Dale Cemetery, Maries County, Missouri. I have photos of the tombstones.
