My gg grandparents were Michael Dillon (born ~ 1834) and Mary Cavangh or Connaught Dillon (born 1833). They were both born in Ireland. According to the 1860 Federal Census, they lived in the Louisville 8th Ward, Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. Their daughter Ellen Dillon was born in KY in 1857. Ellen married my great-grandfather Joseph Michalek. Michael fought in the Civil War on the Union side. This is all the information I have. Any help will be gratly appreciated.
