In a land warrant for Abraham & John Buford, documented 11 JAN 1786 in Fayette County, Edward McGloughland is referenced as a boundary for the 6,000 plus acres associated with these Buford warrants. Edward McGloughland is noted as having an "improvement" along the Ohio River. Other than this boundary reference, we have not been able to identify any deed/warrant/indenture/bill-of-sale for this Edward McGloughland in the KY or VA archives. Any suggestions ?
