I think the question should be why is it there in the first place? I've had the priviledge to be able to travel to many places. I've been to many other states, Montana, Idaho, Washington, New Mexico, and Wyoming just to name a few. I'd venture to say that there is more trash on the roadways in South Georgia alone than on all of the above mentioned states road-systems combined. I suppose it all starts with the residents of the area and an utter lack of pride. There is an old saying: "Don't Sh-t where you eat" I suppose violating that idea doesn't seem to bother too many South Georgians.
