Well we have got to STOP our fans from running from the stands to the sidelines and onto the field, Brantley as of today has a real reputation of not being able to "control our fans". Super aned principal kept comeing getting our Sheriff and Deputies for "threats to kill me when I get to Brantley to play again", give me a break fella. When we got ahead in the game, they sent their law officials to our side of the field, we watched it, they closed some gates, they stodd manned at their posts, it was like a freaking movie! When Ryan Blount was down and I mean down on the field and that delayed whistle and they stripped the ball from him, jhad he made that touchdown I'll bet you my paycheck this week, that touchdown would have been called back for some non realistic panality os some sort.
Tom was escorted out for having a photo to but was NOT who was escorted out by police. That was absolutely ridiculous, you should not be able to be arrested for words, now if I knock **** outta you, then take me to jail....
AND that linch mob that was standing the entire game in the Tattnall endzone, must hve been the "chicken farmers", they called themselves the "TouchDown Club". They made statements and comments all night, I bit my tongue, I knew I'd get thrown out in a heartbeat, no matter I had a press badge around my neck or not.
We had more fans there than they did, we were loud and into the game and like someone told me last night, "we know our football".
We all get passionate about our teams and I have been as guilty as any but we have got to stay in our seats and when an official turns in a field and points to our home bleachers, you can bet we are screwed from then on out, but of course last night I believe we were screwed when we drove across the Tattnall County line. This is twice we have had trouble this year for people from the stands coming onto the field. One in celebration and we lost that game to McIntosh and one in disgust at the referees. I can't believe they didn't call the 15 yard penality but the white hat didn't see him until it was too late or trust me he would have. The black guy was actually pulling for us I believe but like I said he had NO say so in anything.
Was it just me or did anyone else see the blue flashing lights sitting at the Tattnall County line when we crossed it from Long County by the GSP, was that "suppose" to be our welcoming committee?
No one pulled over just sitting there with Blue Lights Flashing in a warning maybe,
"THIS IS OUR COUNTY!".
After the first 10 minutes of play and with over 50 yards of penalities before halftime, maybe there was more to those flashing blue lights that what we realized.
Sorry, got on phone and forgot phtots, got to run to work but let me see if I can get them on photobucket real quick.
