Personally, I'd probably recommend Camp Bestival to you down in Dorset a few weeks after if you are looking at family-friendly. The line-up is typically left-field (Flaming Lips are playing, which gets a huge thumbs-up from me) with a bit of pop thrown in to the mix but that's my choice. There are quite a few Blissfields type artists there and my mate Daniel Clay will be reading a bit form his book, Broken (ace by the way).
I don't think there are many festies out there with a similar vibe, and absolutely not for the same price, which is what makes it so very sad for us all. It's so upsetting to know what we were going to put on for people this year and there was literally no expense spared to bring you an amazing weekend. We needed strong word-of-mouth this year alongside some good weather and a healthier economy but hey, we aren't going to beat ourselves up. We had an amazing weekend planned and did what we could. You can't fight what you can't fight!
Anyway, I've got some Scotch to drink to ease the pain 
Have a fab summer though...
