Formed in 2005, Fingersmith are an energetic piano trio, with an attitude born of second generation punk. Although
often compared to ‘Ben Folds Five’ for their instrumentation and mesmerizing live performances, Paul Schofield's melodies
follow more in the tradition of Paul McCartney or Billy Joel
with the band pushing the piano to breaking point !!
With searing bass lines and driving, innovative drums (Stephen MacLachlan), Fingersmith are the Jerry Lee Lewis of the 21 st Century.
Having recorded their debut album 'Saving Face' in late 2007,
Fingersmith welcomed Lewis Andrews on bass guitar and backing
vocals and are currently taking bookings for 2008.
