As many of you know (who attend AC) we always gather for a group dinner at Anthrocon every Sunday night. It is a time when we can all meet, for the last time at the convention. Last years dinner did not go over to well at all. Our small party quickly grew to over 45 people. We were spilt up in three rooms at the restaurant and it sucked. We, as a family need to be together for our last supper together.
So this year I am going to extend the invention to my friends only. To keep things more sane, we should not pick up strangers as we go along. I would like to keep the group limited to the ones who read this board. (As well a few members of my local mascot troupe here in MD) This will greatly reduce our numbers and MAYBE allow us to sit in one room as a BIG group.
We can also change restaurants locations if the group wants to. Although Bucca is a tradition, it is certainly not needed. We can try another restaurant (at the outdoor plaza with the water fountain) if the group wants to.
Let’s get some ideas rolling here, see what we can come up with. AC is less than a week away now!
