It's a doggone shame that the FDA didn't give these warnings ahead of time before people started getting sick. My Son, Family & I love cake. I make a cake about once a week and have done so for years. But I don't use Duncan Hines box cake mix, I use the Betty Crocker box cake mixes. I always look at the expiration dates (unless) I'm shopping in a hurry. But what I have found out is that a cake should be eaten in 2-3 days (if not) it starts to go bad and most of the time you can smell it going bad after a few days (because it will have a moldy smell). If we have not eaten the cake by then, my Son and I will throw if out. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Thanks again Wayne & Annie for this very important info. We can never be too careful about what we eat nowadays.
HERE'S ONE OF MY CAKES THAT I MAKE EVERY WEEK FOR MY FAMILY OR FOR ME & MY SON (HE / THEY REALLY LOVE THEM (I MAKE CHOCOLATE, LEMON, AND YELLOW CAKES WITH OR WITHOUT FROSTING)!!
Love and Blessings, Phoebe
