Posted by Bill on 3/18/2003, 5:09 pm, in reply to "Hair multiplication or cloning" currently, most people seem to think that dr. gho from the netherlands is in the lead, and will be the first one out with the procedure, but the hair transplant industry here in the states, most notably bosley, will be the ones to popularize it among the many, since they already have a distribution chain. i have always believed that the procedure will become so easy to do, that the amount of skilled training will plummet downwards - which in my mind has been the main reason why the procedure has been tabled for so long. the science behind hair cloning goes back 20-30 years. but just how much can they charge to operate a machine that will ultimately do the work ? hang in there, buddy.

hi mart,
it is very definitely coming, and what you are thinking currently, is just what the hair transplant industry wants you to think - enough doubts that something so much better can be right around the corner. it would absolutely kill the HT industry tomorrow. who in their right minds would get an HT, when something tons better is close ?
