Aussie Armour

Hi all,
I am trying to find model kits of Australian WW2 armour in 1/48th scale for the purpose of making a QR military train of the period. Can anyone advise on this please?
Secondly, I recently purchased two Tamiya 1/48th scale "British Universal Carrier Mk 2" kits. I suspect these are the US/Canadian T16 (bren gun) carriers. Does anyone know if these carriers are in fact the same as any model of the carriers used in Australia?
